The interior of your home is most likely primarily drywall. Drywall has a few different names such as: sheetrock, gypsum board and rock lath. This material is created by mixing together gypsum plaster and fiber, then wrapping the mixture in a paper and letting it all set. Once this mixture is set, the resulting product is a solid material that is perfect for forming walls and ceiling.
When painting drywall the proper surface preparation is crucial. All drywall is patched and sanded before priming or painting. This material absorbs your paint so whenever we paint drywall we always use at least two coats. When drastically changing colors we will prime your walls before painting, so there is no mixing of colors.
